My ex gf of 1yr. left me for her ex 3 months ago, n he’s very jealous n abusive, he doesn’t want her to talk to me at n had her change her #too , I gave her nothing but love n happiness, how can I get her back do u have any good advice, I need that thanks again.

These are definitely three of the wrong responses to a break up, and ones that I have personally fallen into as well as times.

Its hard to get focused on other things and separate from the emotional sting.

Best to respect the other side and give them the space they want, regardless of how much it hurts.

You’re right – over my last few breakups, I’ve made all three of those mistakes and I’ve always ended up regretting it. I’m bookmarking this so that when I break up with my current girlfriend (it’s about to happen lol), I’ll know what not to do. Please write up something telling me what exactly to do, if not those things, when I do break up. Thanks.

Great points. I know how hard it is for someone to move on if they broke up with the one that they love the most. Just keep in mind that it’s not the end of the world. Mourn for some time but know when to say enough and move on.
