Your Girlfriend May Stay If You Change Little Things
There are certain points in a relationship when you get too comfortable with each other that you tend to miss little problems, which pile up and become great big walls that hinder the growth of your love, or worse, make your relationship fall apart. Addressing the small problems that have been slowly eating up the foundation of your relationship may be the key to save a relationship.
Changing little things is always a good place to start when you want to save a relationship. The simple act of learning how to listen may just make your girlfriend stay. This is easier if your girlfriend is vocal of the things that she dislikes; otherwise, you may need to be more sensitive and think over your actions.
Changing your bad habits may just do the trick, no matter how hard they may be to break. This is a sacrifice you need t o make if you really want to save a relationship.
- The first bad habit to change – and most guys are guilty of this – is being aloof, especially when a girl is talking. One thing you should know is that when girls talk, they expect reactions. Be sensitive enough to nod once in a while and let out “oohs” and “ahs” and really listen to the words. If she asks a question, answer.
- The second bad habit: insensitivity. Watch out for those signs that might be right up your face. Don’t think that because you’ve been together for the longest time, you really don’t have to do things for her anymore. Believe me, you should. Get her interested in you again with little things like thank you’s, surprise dates, and things of the like.
- Lastly, and most importantly, prioritize her needs. Be selfless but don’t lose yourself—it would surely save a relationship.
There are no complicated secrets to keeping a relationship in tune. So, keep your actions small but be sure make them count.
